GG Poker License

GG Poker has a license from the UK Gambling Commission and has an Isle of Man Gaming License. This is impressive since most gambling sites are only licensed in Curacao.
 

Security Features

You are protected by an SSL certificate as well as two-factor authentication at GG Poker. The site can immediately determine where you are located and fills that in when you register. 

You can also create a stronger password in the security tab in your account as well as a fund password for withdrawing funds. Overall the security of this site is excellent.
 

Reputation of Owners

So is GG Poker legit? Well, GG International has been around since 2000, and they have a tremendous amount of experience. They are a Gaming Labs Certified company and they have a great reputation. Seems legit to me.

Games are provably fair with their Random Number Generator certified by BMM Testlabs. BMM Testlabs has been in the industry for 30 years, so they can most certainly be trusted.

This site has well-known names as Brand Ambassadors, like Daniel Negreanu, Dan “Blitz” Bilzerian, Bertrand “ElkY” Gospellier, Fedor Holz, and many more. Those names alone should tell you much about the reputation of this company.
 

Complaints Received

I wasn’t able to find any complaints about GG International Limited or, specifically, about GG Poker at the time of this writing. I don’t know about you, but I am very impressed overall with the reputation of this company.

With Pokercraft, every hand you play is saved on a database. You can then use this information to analyze and improve your game!  You can also save and export any hand to Hand Moments and share them to your social media accounts.
 

SnapCam

SnapCam records up to 15 seconds of video that you can share with everyone at the table. Wins or losses, show your reactions and your excitement (or disappointment).
 

Smart Betting

Smart Betting makes the game easier for players using the mobile app. It suggests bet sizes based on your past behavior. If you don’t like the suggestion, you can get different suggestions.
 

Smart HUD

Smart HUD allows you to keep track of rivals, analyze your encounters with them, and learn their style!
 

All-In Insurance

Insurance? Yes! This feature gives you the option to insure your chips when you go all-in and you’re the favorite against one other player. 

If you can’t find something to get your adrenaline going at GG Poker, you might want to check your pulse. 
 
 

8. Player Experience 8.0/10

GG Poker offers a fantastic player experience that’s tough to beat. But it’s not perfect. Let’s break it down into a few key points.
 

Anonymity

The one sticking point for me is the lack of anonymity. You can’t take advantage of the Daily Freebie without going through Know Your Customer, aka KYC. You also need it to deposit and withdraw funds.
 

You can’t even play free demo slots. If you click a slot game, it asks for your information immediately. For a player who wants anonymity, this is disappointing.
 

Platform Features and Functionality 

The platform for GG Poker is nicely put together. The platform is smooth and well organized, making it easy to find just about anything you need!

You can download a desktop client or a mobile app and play any time, anywhere, easily. Whichever you choose, you’ll find that it’s compatible with any computer, iOS, or Android phone.
 

 

Design and Appearance

I really love the design of the site and I have to admit, I love the caricatures of all the big-name players. Something about it just makes me want to play too.
 

You’ll easily find, not only game menus, but all the special features, offers, promotions, and pretty much everything else you can think of. The home page reminds me of a colorful bulletin board with an array of posters promoting exciting events.
 

Registration Process

The registration process is simple enough. All you need is your country, email address, and password. There is also a spot for a GG Poker sign-up bonus code if you have one.
 

After you fill out the form, you’ll receive a verification email to validate your account. Don’t skip this or wait too long to click the link, because it does expire. Fortunately, if you aren’t fast enough you can have the email resent from your account.
 
 

9. Welcome Bonus

At GG Poker you get to choose between two different welcome bonuses. Either $100 in cash and free tickets or a 100% matched bonus up to $600.

Terms of the welcome bonus

The $100 Reward Bonus gives you $40 in tickets over six days once you’ve made an eligible deposit of at least $20. You can also get an additional $60 in rewards for completing extra All-In or Fold challenges on each of the six days.

The Matched Deposit Bonus gives you a 100% match for your deposit, up to $600. You must make a minimum of a $10 deposit to be eligible. Your deposit is released at $5 for every $20 paid in net rake or tournament fees.

Bonus cash must be unlocked within 90 days or it will expire. There is no GG Poker bonus code required to receive your welcome bonus; it is automatically credited to your account.

Customer service is available via chat or email. Whichever option you choose, it’s easy to find. Service reps are friendly and prompt with their replies.

GG Poker also offers a help section to allow you to find your own answers and then use customer service as a last resort. The help section is pretty extensive so chances are pretty good that you’ll find what you need there.

Chat is not 24/7, which seems odd since poker is 24/7, but you have the option to send a message through the chat box if you need to.

Payment options are pretty typical, however, there are very few cryptocurrency options.

While GG Poker charges no fees for deposits and only $1 for withdrawals, there may be fees associated with your preferred deposit/withdrawal method. Bitcoin withdrawals are free.
 

Withdrawal Limits

The GG Poker minimum deposit depends on the deposit method you are using. Deposits can range from $10 to $5000 depending on your deposit method. Similarly, withdrawal limits vary depending on your method of withdrawal. GG Poker has a $20,000 limit per month.
 

Withdrawal Speed

Transactions can take up to 30 minutes and there have been no complaints about slow or missing transactions.
