Is Gossip Slots safe? Gossip Slots is protected by 128-bit SSL encryption. This is also pretty typical for the industry. Unfortunately, there is no anonymous play at this casino.
 

Reputation of Owners

After a great deal of research, I wasn’t able to find any information about the owners besides the name, Drake Casino Group. 

When searching for information on that name, it just brings up Gossip Slots and other casinos owned by Drake Casio Group. This lack of transparency doesn’t really inspire trust.
 

Complaints Received

I found several complaints against Gossip Slots, mostly involving free spins not being credited to players’ accounts. Another was regarding problems with a bank wire transfer. These complaints were resolved, with responses in just a couple of days.
 
This shows that Gossip Slots makes an effort to resolve issues promptly and fairly. However, one complaint was not resolved, involving a player whose account was closed while he was wagering with a bonus and an 8930 EUR balance.

The casino doesn’t even address this complaint, which is worrisome.

BetSoft is a popular name in the industry with well-known favorites and the always popular 3D games. Their games are also provably fair. 
 

It would be nice to see other game providers for more gaming options, but Gossip Slots has a decent lineup that will keep you entertained for as long as you want to play.

Games are categorized as Slots, Tables, and Live Casino. They also offer jackpots and a couple of specialty games, but they don’t appear to have any exclusive games.
 

One thing I liked was the ability to “play for fun” without gambling. It’s a great way to try out new games to see if you like them.

You also have the usual lineup of table games including Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow, and others. 

Table games allow you to choose from high roller limits, standard limits, or vintage games.
 

Paylines, Features, and Specialty Games

Choose your Paylines, from one to 1024. You can also select games with special features like bonus rounds and free spins. Gossip Slots gives you plenty of options to keep your games exciting and interesting.

Specialty games are very limited. As I explored the site, I found one specialty game. I’m hoping the number changes occasionally.

Overall, the site is put together well, but it’s pretty much identical to the other sites owned by Drake Casino Group. It’s just a different theme and color scheme. I’ll break it all down below.
 

Platform Features and Functionality

Gossip Slots is pretty easy to navigate. It’s organized and you can find what you need with either the side menu or the menu on the bottom of the page. Drop-down menus to narrow down the types of games you want to look at are helpful as well. 

I liked the fact that you can chat with other players if you enjoy doing that. Some players get too engrossed in their games to chat, but sometimes part of the fun is having someone to talk to.

The Gossip Slots mobile site is also well put together and easy to find your way around. The gameplay is smooth and I had no issues with the games loading. 

I was disappointed that the link to the blog took me to a message that said the site can’t be reached. So while normally a blog is a nice feature, I was unable to access it and see how good it actually is. 
 

Design and Appearance

The design is very basic, as I mentioned before. It looks nice but it’s nothing special. It’s just a different take on a previously used design.

The games themselves looked great, of course. They loaded and worked well, as you’d expect from top game providers
 

Registration Process

I wasn’t impressed with the registration process. It’s easy, but you are required to provide more information than other sites require. You must give your email, username and password, your phone number, first and last name, country, and state or province.

To complete your registration you must also provide your street address (no PO Boxes), city, zip/postal code, and date of birth.

I feel like that’s way more information than anyone needs about me, and I do not give out my phone number easily unless I have established trust. When I can’t find any information about the actual owners of Gossip Slots, I don’t have that trust. 

They say this information is needed to open an account with the payment processor that they use for all of their transactions. Other sites don’t need all of this, so maybe they should consider a different payment processor.

According to the Gossip Slots website, their customer service is available 24/7. They offer support emails as well as live chat. However, the live chat is not available 24/7; it’s only available from 10 am - 12 am EST. Email is always 24/7, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get a quick response.

Unfortunately, there have been many complaints about slow customer service, regardless of using the live chat or email options. So if there is something important you need to be addressed, you may be waiting a while
 
 

12. Payments 8.0/10

All deposits require KYC documentation, whether you are using cryptocurrency or a credit card. This is a big negative for players who value privacy. Here is the information on payments.

The minimum credit card deposit is $25; the minimum crypto deposit is $30; the minimum Quick Cash deposit is $100. QuickCash also charges $10 for deposits under $200.

Withdrawal Limits

The cumulative maximum withdrawal amount per week is $2,500 unless support grants you a higher limit upon request.

However, the withdrawal methods also have limits. Bitcoin has a minimum of $300 and a maximum of $2500. Bank wire has a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $2500, with a $40 fee. 

Quick Cash allows only $330. That’s the number listed as the minimum and the maximum. The confusing part is, it says the fee with Quick Cash is $50 or 8% of the requested amount. 

I’m not sure which it is because 8% of $330 is $26.40. So let’s make the assumption that the fee is $50, just to be on the safe side.

If you made your deposit with a credit card, Bitcoin and Quick Cash are not available for your first two withdrawals unless they pre-approve you. They don’t say how to be pre-approved, so I’ll guess that you have to email support. 
 

Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawal speed is one to three business days for Bitcoin and Quick Cash. Bank wire takes up to five business days.
