In this 2023 GTBets review, I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned after hours of researching and interacting with the site.

GTBets has a very good reputation overall. This company has been around for a long time so they should know what they’re doing to keep players happy and engaged.

The casino is licensed in Curacao. This is a pretty typical license in the online gaming industry. It means that this casino is legal and trustworthy.

Is GTBets safe? As with most gambling sites, GTBets has an SSL certificate. Your information is safe on this site.
 

Reputation of Owners

I researched various sites and even emailed the casino. I was able to find no information about the owners. While players overall enjoy this casino, the lack of transparency on the part of the owners does not create a sense of trust.
 

Complaints Received

In all of my research, I found one complaint on AskGamblers from several years ago (2016)  that seems to be unresolved. Apparently, a player from the UK registered and made a $300 deposit that was not returned when the player found out he could not gamble there legally.

The player maintains that he should not have been able to set up an account. Comments from GTBets were deleted so I don’t know their side of the story. 

I do know, however, that the terms and conditions of the site clearly state what countries are restricted and that they have the right to confiscate funds if they believe you have registered an account if there is evidence of fraud.

This isn’t to say that was the situation. I have no way of knowing. But if that’s the only complaint since 2016, I feel like no one should seriously ask ‘is GTBets legit’ because in spite of this one issue, they have proven themselves over time.

My only real disappointment with the sportsbook is that there is no live stream of games, but that’s certainly not something everyone else offers either.

The platform itself is very smooth and easy to use. It’s well organized and that makes it easy to find whatever you’re looking for. 

I particularly like the side menu. You can find the information that you need and just tuck it away when you’re done.
 

Another nice feature is the game-specific betting guides listed at the bottom of the page. You’ll also find a Betting Stats link where you can find almost anything you need to know about any team. 

The site was very well thought out so that it would be useful for beginners and more experienced gamblers alike. The mobile site even offers an option to put a shortcut on your phone, which is really convenient.
 

Design and Appearance

The design of GTBets is very clean and bright. You won’t have the flashing lights that remind you of Vegas. Instead, you’ll have clear, crisp images and graphically beautiful casino games.
 

The mobile site is also clean and simple. Easy to use and easy on your eyes. 
 

Registration Process

Registration on GTBets is simple, but a bit intrusive. There is no anonymous play at this venue, so in addition to a user name and password, you must put in your first and last name, country, and phone number. They also reserved the right to ask for official identification.

For this bonus, your account ID acts a little like a GTBets promo code. When your friend registers, they put your account ID into the referral spot of the registration page and then contact customer support.

Favorite Teams

The maximum bet allowed for the adjusted line is $3000 for NCAA football and $5000 for NFL. This is only for straight wagers.

GTBets refunds 10% of your casino losses each Tuesday. This rebate has no rollover. To qualify, you must have made a deposit in the last 90 days.

GTBets has customer service, not only through 24/7 live chat and email but by phone. I was pretty impressed with this because you don't see phone support very often.

I tried the email and received an automated response that I would have a reply as quickly as possible. After five days I still had not received a reply with answers to my questions.

Needless to say, I am not very impressed with customer service.

GTBest requires KYC documentation before you make your sixth credit card deposit. Minimum and maximum limits depend on your deposit method. If you do not provide KYC documentation, you will have to in order to make a withdrawal.

I was pretty disappointed with this because most people who use cryptocurrency do so because they want privacy. Sending someone a copy of your driver’s license and a utility bill does not fit the description of privacy.

Bankwire has a minimum withdrawal of $100 and a maximum of $5000, with one payment allowed per customer every seven days. There is also a $40 withdrawal fee.

Bitcoin withdrawal has no fee. The minimum withdrawal is $300 and the maximum is $5000, with one payment per customer every seven days. 

QuickCash charges $50 or 8% per payment, but no minimum or maximum is listed. It just says to contact them for more information.
 

Withdrawal Speed

Withdrawal speed depends on the withdrawal method that you choose. Bankwire can take up to 12 days, and the bank may charge additional fees. Bitcoin and QuickCash withdrawals can take up to 48 hours.
