Roobet has a very good reputation. Are you wondering, ‘is Roobet legit’ or ‘is Roobet safe’? 

The answer is a resounding yes.

Roobet is popular among many crypto casino enthusiasts. Of the 700+ reviews I perused, nearly 80% of them listed the platform as a 5/5. 

Over 2 million bets have been placed on the platform and the players involved have not had issues withdrawing their winnings when they follow the platform’s KYC and AML policies - which are fairly strict. 

Strictness in their policies ensures that they are complying with all the necessary laws and that they take their job seriously. 

Some online casinos have no similar policies so you are trusting that they follow the rules. 

With Roobet, you know they are following the rules. Is Roobet safe? Again, yes.

Roobet operates with a Curacao license so you can be sure they have gone through the necessary background checks and audits to obtain that license.

Roobet is one of the more security-focused casinos that I’ve come across. 

Players are required to submit documents proving that they are compliant with KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) rules.

Roobet also has the standard SSL certificate on its website. This encrypts all the private information you enter into it, so don’t worry about someone hacking your account.

Roobet also emphasizes that users who are caught using VPNs to place bets from restricted regions will have their funds frozen and their accounts terminated. 
 

Reputation of Owners

Given that Roobet is fairly new - it was established in 2018 - there is not much information on the owners. What I did find were all the documents that were submitted to the Curacao gambling organization. 

There are many reviews detailing the good experiences that users have on the platform. When it comes to online crypto gambling, this is generally more important than knowing the background of the owners. 
 

Complaints Received

Of all the reviews I read of Roobit, the only legitimate complaints were by users who were dissatisfied that they had to upload documents to satisfy the KYC and AML requirements. 

Many users are not used to that because most online crypto casinos do not require any documents to play, but rather allow you to play anonymously. 

Roobet has an email for users to submit complaints to and they also respond to all negative complaints on third-party review sites such as Trust Pilot. 

Many users applaud the platform for its helpful responses to emails that complain about the platform.

Roobet is very specific with its restrictions. 

Before I move forward, make sure you don’t try to make a Roobet account if you live in the following countries. 
 

In most countries, you are allowed to place bets before submitting the KYC and AML documents but are required to have them submitted before initiating any withdrawals. 

There are some countries where Roobet users are required to submit the documents before placing a bet.

There are also some countries that Roobet does not operate in because of armed conflicts and political unrest. This is done to prevent bad actors from money laundering on their platform.

Roobet’s casino offering is very succinct. Rather than have 5,000+ lower quality games, Roobet decided to offer a smaller amount of higher quality games.

You can play all your favorites such as Blackjack, Baccarat, slots, game shows, different house games, and my personal favorite - Crash.
 

Crash

Crash is a game I’ve seen on a few other casino sites but it is generally not very common. 

The risk to reward is different from other games as users usually have a good chance of making a profit. 
 

While many players still lose money on this game, others are able to 10x or even 100x their bets fairly consistently. 

Users place their bets on how much they want to gamble. A spaceship takes off and the wager begins with 1x. If you bet $10 and close out at 1x on the chart - then you make 100% profit. 

As you can see in the screenshot above, some players are winning 2x, 3x, or more just by exiting the bet at the right time. Occasionally, the spaceship will take off and users who didn’t exit are handsomely rewarded. 

I’ve seen the multiplier go all the way up to 113x while researching for this review. 

Don’t get too confident! Sometimes the spaceship crashes at 1x and everyone loses their bet. 

For this type of gambling, volatility is a feature, not a bug.

There are well over 1000 games to choose from. Each has high-quality graphics, provably fair probabilities of winning, and realistic sound effects. 

Below is an example of me winning a Blackjack hand with some fun money. It’s nice that they let you demo the games with fake money before putting real funds on the line.

Roobet Mobile

Along with the in-browser version of the site, there is also a Roobet mobile option. You can play in your mobile browser just as well as you can play on a desktop browser.

The website is built well and there were no expired links. 

I enjoyed my time on the site.
 

Design and Appearance

The design of the platform is more like an app you may have on your phone than a website with sidebars and whatnot.

Given that Roobet is only offering casino games, I think this is a great design choice. 

Most other casinos have the sidebars to separate casinos, sportsbooks, and poker offerings - which is all well and good - but Roobet decided to focus on their casino offerings specifically. 

All in all, it’s a very well-designed website. 
 

Registration Process

The registration process on Roobet is more involved than other online crypto casinos because of their focus on following KYC and AML regulations.

Users can sign up with a Google or Steam account, or they can choose to use an email and a password. 

You’ll be able to immediately start placing bets as long as you don’t live in a country that is on the restricted lists noted above. 

If you want to deposit and withdraw funds, you’ll be required to upload identification documents to satisfy the KYC and AML requirements. Some countries require you to do so before placing any bets.

There are a number of interesting promotions on Roobet although none of them require a Roobet promo code. Roobet promotions open the doors to all sorts of fun ahead.
 

King of Roo

King of Roo is a competition that is randomly announced to all players at the discretion of Roobet. 

Players can win the title King of Roo when they hit multipliers of 100 or more on any slot game when betting at least 1 Roobido. This title is held until someone else does the same thing. 

Kings of Roo are able to share with the house on all the lost bets on slots. The number varies by how many people are placing slots bets during the King of Roo event and how much is being lost. 

It’s nice that Roobet decided to be creative with their promotions rather than just have the same style promotions and associated Roobet promo codes involved like other platforms. 

The King of Roo is my favorite Roobet promotion.
 

VIP Club

Roobet has a very exclusive VIP Club. Not only do users need to have gone through the KYC and AML process, but they need to be active on the site and receive a personal invite from someone within Roobet.

VIP players receive access to a number of exclusive promotions and gifts, along with a white-glove experience in terms of customer service. 

All gifts are given out at the discretion of the Roobet VIP management team. VIP chat requests and customer service requests are prioritized over all other players. 

Being part of the VIP club is a better alternative to having a bunch of random Roobet promo codes.

Not only does Roobet offer email support and 24/7 chat support, but they have rave reviews. 

Every review that mentioned the customer service department was positive and users had no issues getting in touch with customer service. 

In the terms and conditions of the site, the email contact is prominently displayed along with all the details behind individual games. The rules are laid out very clearly and the customer service is consistently great.

Roobet has a unique payment setup. They only accept three cryptocurrencies for depositing and withdrawing and they also introduced their own cryptocurrency. 

Each deposit must be a cryptocurrency and is immediately exchanged for Roobidos.
 

Deposits

There is no Roobet minimum deposit so you don’t have to worry about putting too much on the line. 

The deposit methods available on Roobet are:

 

Roobidos

Roobet created their own currency to use on the platform called a Roobido. 

One Roobido is equivalent to one dollar in either Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Ethereum at the current exchange rate which is updated hourly. 

There are no trading fees when buying or selling Roobidos on Roobet. 

Roobidos can be used in all the games provided by the website and by its third-party partners.

Each withdrawal is in the form of Roobidos. If you deposited $100 worth of Bitcoin, you would receive 100 Roobidos. 

If you were to withdraw the 100 Roobidos, you would be withdrawing the $100 in Bitcoin because the Roobidos are automatically traded for the cryptocurrency that you deposited once you initiate the withdrawal. 

You may withdraw Roobidos as Cryptocurrencies by entering a Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin address in your profile. 

Given that there is no Roobet minimum deposit, you can bet with as many or as few Roobidos as you please. 
 

Roobet Withdrawals

Roobet withdrawals can be in one of the following cryptocurrencies. Roobet withdrawal options are fairly limited but it’s not too big of a deal. If you are used to betting with Bitcoin Cash for example, simply trade it for one of the following cryptocurrencies. 

 

Roobet Withdrawal Limits

There are no Roobet withdrawal limits listed on the site or the terms of conditions. 
 

Roobet Withdrawal Speed

Roobet withdrawal speeds typically take a few minutes but they can take up to 24 hours if all the KYC and AML (anti-money laundering) forms have not been submitted to Roobet. 

In the third-party reviews I read, players had no issues with withdrawals when they had submitted all the KYC and AML documents. 
 

Refunds

Unlike most crypto casinos, Roobet allows you to request refunds. 

If you are unhappy with your experience or if you accidentally deposited too much, there is a simple process to request a refund. 

Roobet complies with European Union Directive 2011/83/EU which states that you have 14 days to cancel a transaction that involves Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin. 

In order to request a refund, users must have gone through the KYC and AML processes.

Roobet Review: Final Thoughts

I like Roobet. I think they are very on top of it in terms of compliance and I like their utilization of a custom cryptocurrency - Roobidos in this case. 

If international law wanted to ban online crypto casinos that do not adhere to KYC and AML guidelines, Roobet would not have any issue. 

Although some users may be annoyed with the hoops they have to jump through in order to initiate withdrawals, I think most will be happy to do so in exchange for using a legitimate platform.
