Thunderpick Review 2023

In this 2023 Thunderpick review, I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned after hours of researching and interacting with the site.

You will find all the features, pros and cons, and many screenshots.

Most importantly, you’ll discover my honest opinion on Thunderpick.

Thunderpick License

Is Thunderpick legit? As is common for online gambling sites, Thunderpick is licensed in Curacao. So yes, Thunderpick is definitely legit.
 

Security Features

Thunderpick has the regular security features of an SSL certificate. You also have the option of setting up 2-factor authentication, which is always recommended to keep your account safe.

They are also subject to General Data Protection Regulations regarding any personal information that they collect from you.
 

Reputation of Owners

I was unable to find much information about the owners in my extensive research. Even the Paloma Media B.V. website seemed pretty useless as far as providing information other than saying they are a leading provider of “digital solutions and support.” 

This lack of transparency can potentially be overlooked based on the fact that I was unable to find any complaints about the platform. There is definitely no Thunderpick scam.
 

Complaints Received

I was pleased to find no complaints about Thunderpick casino on third-party review sites. This shows that players overall are pleased with the site.

The Thunderpick casino is very robust. There are game offerings in every category you can think of. Below is the very self-explanatory home page. 

You can be sure to find what you're looking for when the user interface is this good.

The live casino category even has a Monopoly game you can place bets on.

Not only do you have many categories to choose from but there are so many games within each category. There are 172 live casino games, for example, and 1887 slots games. 

That is a huge set of options to choose from. It’s almost overwhelming!

Below is a screenshot of the Blackjack page. As you can see, each game looks high quality, and there are a variety of variations you can choose from such as European or 21 Burn.

Alongside the traditional casino games, Thunderpick also offers exotic games such as Spin, where you bet on a provably fair spindial’s outcome. Must be nice to land that 30x every once in a while!
 

Another novel game on the Thunderpick platform is Crash. Here you bet on the success of this animated plane flight. I was amazed to see how many active bets were being placed. 

In the image below, you can see six active bets that were placed within seconds of this Crash game starting. Thunderpick is quite the casino.
 

You can see these live bets being cashed out in real-time and there was one flight that went 7.5x while I was watching, so whoever cashed out at that number literally 7.5x their bet. 
 

Provably Fair

Many gambling platforms presume that you will assume their games are fair. Thunderpick is nice enough to explain exactly how fair their games are.

Below is a screenshot of their Provably Fair page which details the SHA256 algorithm which is a high-end cryptographic algorithm used to secure transactions on blockchains. 

This is a huge plus in regards to transparency.

 

6. Sportsbook Features 9.4/10

Thunderpick’s sportsbook offers a variety of games in both the physical and ESports domains. 

The odds are fair and placing bets is very easy. There are daily giveaways as well that are constantly incentivizing users to place more bets.

At the time of writing, there were 573 upcoming games to bet on and 4 live games. The activity on this platform is impressive. 
 

ESports

As many of you know, ESports has risen to become one of the most popular sporting categories in the world. There are huge prize pools at some ESports events and online gambling has done a great job capitalizing on that opportunity.

You can bet on the same games that these tournaments are betting on, along with dozens of other ESports games.

At the time of writing, there were 104 upcoming ESports events and 9 live ones that I could have placed bets on. 

The primary ESports games they offer are the following:

• Starcraft 2
• League of Legends
• Dota 2
• CSGO

Rather than search for a particular game, Thunderpick allows you to search the ESports offerings by team. 

This can help you find your favorite ESports players to bet on and help you keep track of who matters in the industry.

8. Player Experience 10.0/10

My experience using the platform was great. The user interface is simple but effective, and there were no lags switching between pages or searching through the documentation. 

Thunderpick easily has the best player experience within an online casino and sportsbook that I have reviewed. 
 

Design and Appearance

As mentioned, the user interface is amazing. It is extremely similar to the user interface of TradingView - a premier charting and analytic software for trading. 

Below is an example of the charting software from TradingView. As you can see, there are icon menus on both sides that give users extreme functionality.

Compare that to the ESports page of Thunderpick. 
 

Obviously, the central section of the page is different but the icon menu on the left and the alternate menu on the right are very similar to the setup that TradingView has implemented.

I bring this up because TradingView is a world-class platform that has highly paid UX/UI designers who know how to create an impactful platform. 

Thunderpick has taken note of what makes a platform impactful and they have gone ahead and created a similar interface for a substantially different activity - online casino and sports gambling. 

Kudos to Thunderpick. 

I am a big fan of good design and they have succeeded in making me want to use their platform (I probably will). 
 

Registration Process

The registration process was as simple as possible. There are multiple options to create an account that are non-anonymous but I decided to create an anonymous account.

All I had to do was input my email and a username. Once I verified my email, I had full access to the platform. To place any bets, I would need to deposit cryptocurrency.

You can also create a non-anonymous account by signing up with your Google, Twitch, or Steam accounts. Twitch and Steam are two of the biggest gaming sites in the world.

Thunderpick is really going after the gaming market. This must be why their ESports betting pages are so active. 
 

Account Page

Thunderpick has an entire dashboard created for each account. This has been done on other platforms but not to the extent where you can chat with other users.

To enable this chat feature, you must have 1000 or more coins. 

These coins are not 1:1 with your deposited crypto but rather they have their own Thunder Coin which is 100:1 with the Euro. 

You would therefore need at least 10 Euros worth of cryptocurrency deposited into your account to enable the chat feature. 

Ranks

Thunderpick utilizes a ranking system to incentivize users to keep using their platform. 

There are five ranks, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Challenger. Each of these has an associated Roman numeral (V is the lowest - Bronze, I is the highest - Challenger). 

The Challenger is the most coveted ranking. Every 24 hours, the 10 most active users on the Thunderpick platform are chosen as challengers. 

Being a certain rank makes you eligible for certain reward giveaways. 

There are giveaways for each ranking. If you are a Gold III rank, for example, you would have access to the Gold III giveaways and you would have access to the Silver IV and Bronze V giveaways as well.

Be sure to check the documentation to understand exactly how to benefit from their ranking system.

Thunderpick has a one-time 100% deposit bonus that is available to all users who make an account.

The maximum amount for the bonus is 200 Euro so your maximum first deposit should be no more than 10,000 Euros equivalent. 

The playthrough required to obtain the bonus is (1st deposit + bonus) x 300.

There are Daily Giveaways that are different for the different tiers of badged users (Bronze V-Challenger I). Be sure to check in with their daily giveaway page for more details. 

Weekly Races

You can win a chunk of the 1,000 Euros given out daily to winners of the Weekly Races promotions.

Monthly Gift Cards

To keep users using their platform, Thunderpick offers monthly gift cards. Each month, the Thunderpick team chooses 150 to 200 users at their discretion and sends them a gift card. 

Reload Bonus

Thunderpick wants to reward loyal customers. In order to obtain reload bonuses, you must purchase Gift Cards in the gift card center and redeem them.

ESports Quizzes

There are quizzes in the Thunderpick Discord channel that are 5 questions, and 30 seconds are allotted to each question. The first user to answer these correctly receives the bonus. 

Quizzes are announced within the Discord channel.

Refer a Friend

For each friend you refer who deposits onto Thunderpick, they will receive a 5% bonus and you can earn up to 30% of the revenue generated from their account!

VIP Club

For the white glove Thunderpick experience, join the Thunder VIP Club.

As a VIP member, you are granted access to special giveaways, withdrawal priorities, and higher withdrawal limits, no fees, and a personal VIP manager to help you place bets.

I have seen similar offerings at other casinos but nothing to the extent that Thunderpick goes. They do a good job at treating their customers well.

The customer service at Thunderpick is top-notch. They have a 24/7 live support chat and an in-depth FAQ section. 

While they don’t have a help center like some other online gambling sites do, they do have sufficient documentation across their platform.

There is also a customer service email they include across many pages for users who have any questions or issues.
